Joanna Arnow won’t be able to escape comparisons to Lena Dunham, not only because this is an entry in the sexual girl canon with humour and some perversity, but also because Arnow directs, stars in, writes and edits the film — her first feature. The film, a comic mosaic of Ann’s, her character, experiences, shows us her corporate job, her belligerent family and her casual relationships involving BDSM.
