Here you can find the answers to frequently asked questions about IndieLisboa

The 20th edition of IndieLisboa – International Film Festival will take place from April 27 to May 7.

Cinema São Jorge, Culturgest, Cinema Ideal, Cinema Portuguesa and Cinema Fernando Lopes are IndieLisboa’s partner venues for 2023.

All the festival’s sections will be made public at least three weeks before the festival.

Tickets for the 20th edition will be available for purchase from April 13. In the meantime, early bird ticket books, with 10 voucher tickets, can be purchased at a special price.

Soon all useful information will be available online.

The most sustainable way to get to IndieLisboa is by bike, through GIRA, Lisbon’s public bike sharing network.

For screenings at Culturgest, the nearest metro station is Campo Pequeno (yellow line), or by the buses 722, 727, 735, 736, 738, 744, 749*, 754, 756*, 767, 783, 206** and 207**.

For screenings at Cinema São Jorge, the nearest metro station is Avenida (yellow line), or by the buses 709*, 711, 732, 736, 746, 783 and 207**.

For screenings at Cinema Ideal, the nearest metro station is Baixa-Chiado (green/blue line), or by the buses 758 and 202**, and the trams E24 and E28.

For screenings at Cinemateca Portuguesa, the nearest metro stations are Marquês de Pombal (blue/yellow line) or Avenida (blue line), or by the buses 706, 709*, 711, 720, 727, 732*, 736, 738, 746, 773, 774, 783, 207**.

* These buses do not operate on Sundays and public holidays.

Also CRC – Car Rental Company is offering a promotional code: for bookings at www.crcrental.pt, between April 20 and May 14, the code INDIELISBOA15 offers a 15% discount.

Travelling from anywhere in the country, Rede Expressos‘ clients will benefit of a 30% discount in the purchase of tickets for IndieLisboa, upon presentation of the RFlex card or the ticket for the trip at our ticket box offices.

All the films screened at the festival are subtitled in portuguese and english, with the exception of films spoken in portuguese which only have english subtitles.
