An illustrator observes and draws women illuminated by the sun, who sing as part of their daily lives. The film explores the relationship between Drawing and Cinema in the director’s creative process, emphasizing women’s strength and the life of their forms, on paper and on screen.
In “Solar Fullness”, an illustrator portrays women in their daily, intimate and individual activities. The film addresses the relationship between drawing and cinema in the director’s creative process, emphasizing the representation of feminine strength and the vitality of life forms, both on paper and on screen. Divided into three chapters, each centered on a different woman, the narrative reveals sunlight captured in pencil strokes and moving images, in a celebration of feminine diversity, where art transcends the boundaries between static and moving forms. With simplicity and delicacy we are invited to enter these moments of “women illuminated by the sun. On paper and on screen.” (Margarida Moz)
