Oranges, or “apples of paradise”, once considered the source of eternal youth, can be eaten or squeezed. They can be sour or sweet, like love. In the morning it’s gold, in the afternoon silver and at night it kills. Modern myths about insomnia and other emotional plagues.

At the door of an old cinema, a man checks the tickets of people coming into the screening room. The repetitive clicks of the drill awaken thoughts and possible beginnings of stories. Everything seems counterpoint, except the orange that unites the projectionist woman, the reviewer man and the projected film. (Catherine Boutaud)
