In a small factory village on the banks of the Ave River, three characters follow the course of life in a single shot.
This movie built on an exquisite sequence shot, links the journey of three characters, one at a time, through the streets and places of a Portuguese town on the banks of the Ave river. Asking us to experience time, the duration of the shot, but also the place, Campos Belos subtly summons our attention unveiling what it sets out to do. We are already standing on a metaphysical level, where time belongs to cinema. A promising first work. (Cláudia Marques)
