Marc went to the countryside, to take advantage of the calm environment to try and relax. His routine is precise and healthy. His girlfriend promises a visit. But the silence of the countryside gives way to an obsession with his regimented life and the sounds that fill it.
Every now and then we have to leave our comfort zone and break the routine – even if only for a certain period of time. Absorbed by the urban hubbub and under its immediate effects – air and noise pollution, day after day in the middle of the crowd, the deception of our own lifestyle – the body asks us for change: a redemptive escape to quieter landscapes, a truce from the city to be able to finally relax, unwind, give in to leisure. But maybe hell is not (only) other people. Despite several attempts to find the much desired peace, Marc only finds it when he realizes that it is not only his surroundings that bother him.
