A moment in the bathroom can spark the imagination. In this case, the contemplations of Jonny, a normal bloke trying to figure out what he wants out of life, as he stumbles through casual encounters, alcohol-fuelled outings and everything he imagines his life in a bustling metropolis should be.
How does the mind of an introverted, insecure guy with social anxiety work? All Gucci My Broski replies. Jonny wants to be a good person. He wants to meet women and be desired. He wants to be an admirable guy with courage. But he languishes inside when a stranger speaks to him, he doubts himself at every turn, he often gets drunk in pubs and his dates fail. In his head, things are always simultaneously easier and more difficult than in reality. This mental confusion is perfectly reflected in the aesthetic and stylistic choices of this frenetic animation, which very organically mixes the lettering of his running thoughts and the more or less imprecise shapes (depending on the level of alcoholism) of the human figures and the scenery they move through.
