A world made of sounds, another made of silence. Luísa in the middle, between the two experiences, trying to find balance. And us hearing the world through her ears.
In this experimental and complex sound work, the director tries to reproduce her own condition and the amalgam of sounds that surround us. What are these noises? Who hears them? Where do they come from? And the silences? Are they sounds that cannot be heard or a lack of courage to imagine that they are there? In a body in a state of imbalance, because only one side can decipher the surrounding sounds, one must have the courage to challenge the fear of partial silence, but also to face the acknowledgement that “the night an ear nerve died in its sleep, (…) the world got a lot noisier”.
