A film that proposes to show a slice of life of students that came from the only music school in Kabul (Afghanistan), who took refuge in Lisbon after the prohibition of music by the Taliban regime. One hundred students were thus received at the National Conservatory.
Since the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, music has been banned in the country. Kabul’s only music school took refuge in Lisbon and a hundred of its students were welcomed in the National Conservatory. In the halls of the school we can hear instruments being tuned and music reflecting on every wall of the building. We go room to room, musical instrument to musical instrument, observing the adjustment of the Afghan students into their new life. Film from the second year of the Lisbon Theatre and Film School (Rui Mendes)
