The IndieJúnior outdoor party takes place after the super special session – “Os Amigos do Gaspar: Uma Reunião na Cidade”  that will take place at Culturgest. Among all the afternoon  entertainment, and continuing with the revisiting of the film’s puppets, we will see a live traditional Portuguese puppet show at “Teatro Dom Roberto” by SA Marionetas. Plastic Expression Workshop, designed and promoted by Ana Teresa Magalhães.

In this workshop we will discover the mysteries of a chameleon and, through cuttings and scribers, help you find its hidden beauty. Legs, head, eyes and heart are part of a body in transformation, which far from perfection seeks only the best position.

From the book THE CHAMELEON WHO THOUGHT HE WAS UGLY by Souleymane Mbodj and Magali Attiogbé, published by Orfeu Negro (2024).

*Children under 6 years old must be accompanied by an adult. From the age of 6, they can be left alone.

The Robertos Theater represents one of the oldest traditions of the performing arts. In Portugal, the popular hero remains today under the name Dom Roberto.

S.A.Marionetas, having had the privilege of direct contact with Master António Dias, one of the last popular Portuguese puppeteers, recreated, based on his testimony, two plays – “O Barbeiro” and “A Tourada”. More recently, and seeking to preserve this traditional art form, the company recovered three more plays from the Robertos Theater repertoire – “A Rosa e os 3 Namorados”, “O Castelo dos Fantasmas” and “O Saloio de Alcobaça”

The aim is to not let Robertos’ theater disappear, as a Portuguese cultural heritage.

Plastic Expression Workshop, designed and promoted by the pedagogical project “Fora Cidade Fora”.

What can we build new from signs we already know?

In this plastic expression workshop we will learn about the different types of traffic signs and understand the importance that each one has in our lives! And when we know everything that each one represents?

This workshop is the place where we will learn to look at the world around us with more creative thinking! What story can we tell based on what each sign tells us? What can we build within each one? Let’s apply the meaning of the signs to small everyday tasks, and see that the possibilities for being more responsible and creative are endless.

So come from there: from information, prohibition, permission and attention signs, let’s build different signs!

Mnham….! Warm cookies from Gleba on movie days? Apron, roll up your sleeves and we’re ready to cook!

In this workshop we will build characters like those in the movies. We knead, shape and cook stories that taste like friendship and family love.

They told us that in this delicious workshop the flour we will use is ground in a stone mill, and that we will taste the best wheat from Alentejo when we cook these delicious cookies! And if Gleba means “proper land to cultivate”, this merger with IndieJúnior means “proper land to create”!
