The movie follows John D, who returns to a luxury hotel on the French Riviera where he relives memories of his golden days in the 1960s, but where he also senses the paranoid idea of the return of his enemies coming to the fore. We jump between the past and the present, in an exquisite work of editing that swirls with homages to martial arts, slashers and giallos. A gripping movie that leaves you with a touch of fever.
