We follow the life of a character as they journey from childhood to adulthood, with particular attention given to their hair and eyebrows. It may seem like a trivial theme. However, a closer look reveals how S The Wolf explores issues of identity construction and masculinity. From childhood trauma at the barber to first love, and, of course, hair loss and eventually the greatest loss, the death of the father, this narrative illustrates how physical appearance becomes a reflection of the internal transformations of the human being. Between self-love and the incessant need to please others, the character faces these challenges armed with a sense of humor that, even in the toughest moments, offers a light and ironic perspective on the process of growing up. With a playful tone, the animation addresses complex issues about image, acceptance, and societal expectations – which are also impossible to satisfy – without ever losing its charm and grace.
