Putas Bêbadas are a Lisbon punk band formed in 2010 by Leonardo Bindilatti, Miguel Abras, João Dória and Hugo Cortez Fernandes, who have been joined by guitarist Íris Neves. With two LPs out – Jovem Excelso Happy (2013) and Orgulho de Ex Buds (2017), they now share themes from a third album to come.
Leonor Teles was born in 1992, in Vila Franca de Xira, in a family of gypsy origins on her father’s side. Her films have been screened and awarded at various film festivals. Balada de Um Batráquio (2016) won the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival, and her first feature film, Terra Franca (2018), was awarded the Young Critics’ Prize – Best First Work at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival. Currently she continues to develop projects mainly linked to documentary and working as a director of photography.
Nuno Lopes is one of the most recognised Portuguese faces, a celebrated and justly awarded actor with a remarkable international career. Since 2006 he has been wearing the skin of DJ. He was part of the duo Lovely Bastards, with mad.mac, until 2013 and since then he has been performing solo in notable national booths.
Accustomed to film stages and plateaus, one day he jumped to behind the plates. In the booth, he explores the seas of house, synth pop and nu disco, José Pimentão offers the crew navigating the dance floor an intense and uplifting journey.
