This edition’s Audience Awards revealed:
The public awarded the Feature Film Award to No Other Land, by Yuval Abraham, Basel Adra, Hamdan Ballal and Rachel Szor. The film deals with the destruction that Israel manages to cause in its attempt to occupy larger areas of land and also the connection between an Israeli journalist and a Palestinian activist and will be shown next Wednesday, the 5th, at 9:45 pm, at the Cinema Ideal.
The Short Film Award went to We Made a Film, by Tota Alves, a collaborative process film that follows Maria Inês and her friends as they explore their first love affairs, as well as the streets of the neighborhood where the heat of the sun mixes with the boiling resulting from the diversity of people who live there.
Finally, it was Baking with Boris, by Masa Avramovic, a film about a baker who becomes allergic to flour, that won over the IndieJunior audience.
