It’s right after the Short Films for the Entire Family +3 Years screening next weekend, that the usual Outdoor Party will take place. Next Saturday, April 29, from 4:30 pm, the garden of Biblioteca Palácio Galveias will receive a special meeting between all those who wish to celebrate with us another edition of IndieJúnior.
Among all the prepared surprises, at 5pm we will listen to the concert Histórias em Canções, by the singer-songwriter Gui Calegari, who will join the sound of guitars and percussions to the sung words. A proposal to dance new stories. Or is it new songs? Maybe they are new child’s plays.
In addition to the music, the afternoon will be filled with workshops organised by the publisher Orfeu Negro and the Pela Cidade Fora pedagogical project. The Orfeu Negro’s plastic expression workshop is called Quiet Diving and is for children over 5 years old. Inspired by the book Pool, by Jihyeon Lee, and conceived by the art educator Ana Teresa Magalhães, this workshop proposes a special dive beyond the visible, where we will discover new horizons. It has two sessions: one at 4:30 pm and another at 5:30 pm. The educational project Pela Cidade Fora presents once again its workshop entitled Building Different Signs, which will challenge us to look at the world around us in a more creative way. This one has two different sessions, the first for children between 4 and 6 years old, who should be accompanied by an adult, at 4:45 pm, and another session for children between 6 and 12 years old at 5:45 pm. Both workshops are free of charge but require prior registration. The registration forms will be available soon.
