A documentary that spends time with Marion and Peter, a Dutch couple who lost their farm in the fire that devastated Pedrógão Grande in the summer of 2017. In the aftermath of the catastrophe, they try to rebuild what they can, with the little they have.
Marion and Peter, a Dutch couple severely affected by the 2017 fires of Pedrógão Grande, live in a caravan while waiting for a solution from the authorities. They tell us about their arrival in Portugal years ago, how fit the life they chose in the countryside is for them, and the impossible condition they live in now. In her sixth film, Pocas Pascoal gently gets close to one of the biggest tragedies of recent years in the country and finds in it two protagonists, as serene as this film, tailor-made for them.
