Night shift

Amid distorted faces, jarring noises and awkward movements, and unsettling encounters, this animated short film explores the different forms fear can take: fear of others, fear of taking up space, fear of confrontation and of being seen. Lia works the night shift at a convenience store to shield herself from constant public exposure. She quickly discovers that at night, customers are even stranger and more unpredictable, as they embody her fears and ghosts. But do they also carry her kindness? (Margarida Moz)
