MIMT focuses on three main visual themes: a cat, a snake, and a butterfly. In less than five minutes, the film follows a path of constant metamorphosis where these three icons are distorted, repositioned, rotated, and fused. Without a direct narrative, it exists in a constant symbolism of associations, without ever falling into an overexposure of meaning. In a stroke that embraces the very specific granularity of digital line pixelation and the approach to a 3D rotation of flattened objects that refuse to adopt contour shadows, MIMT is a beautiful film on the limits of what exists in the possibly symbolic.
