Reflections in the sea, on a spoon, on camera. Any reflective surface opens the door to exploration and play. Everything changes, depending on the light.
Light is intangible. We can only see it because there is a shadow to reveal it. In this film, everything is reflection, everything is movement. Our body and our eyes heat up, trying to follow the flux. But the light always escapes our gaze. Here, the impression creates matter by capturing the light on the 16mm film that reveals its shapes, fragments. But it is also feeling, vivacity. Impressions of light is a sensorial experience, a delicate and metaphorical journey through the ephemeral.(Catherine Boutaud)
