A film that questions ideas about what is family and what is sacred after a nun is excommunicated and returns to a life that includes the daughter she was estranged from when her faith spoke louder. To whom should she ask for forgiveness now?
Adelaide is a recently excommunicated nun. Several years ago, when she chose to be a nun, abandoned her daughter Salomé but now due to her recent situation, moves in with her daughter. The possibility arises of repairing her relationship with Salomé and with God. Are the two possible or are they incompatible? Not all miracles are inexplicable, some just appear to be.
