Pool floats and film to the little ones

IndieLisboa’s 20th anniversary brings the first special screening of Cinema at the Pool. On May 7, there are 3 film sessions at Penha de França’s Swimming Pool: at 11h30am and 4h30pm for ages 6+, and the 8h30pm session is for ages 16+. Giraffe’s Leap, Swimming Pool, An Afternoon at the Pool, Heat Wave, Cat’s Paradise, The Balloon Fish, and Ink make up the programme of this special session for the younger audience. IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Venue: Penha de França Swimming Pool – Calçada Poço dos Mouros 2, 1170-298 Lisbon

Children under the age of 6 will not be admitted.

All participants will watch the films in the water and no one will be allowed to watch the session outside the pool. All children and young people under 16 must be accompanied by an adult participant, following the rule of 1 adult for every child or young person.

All participants must be able to swim. It is not allowed to use armbands, swimming belts or other floating supports in the pool. Each person will be given a pool float, included in the price of the ticket. At the end the pool float must be returned. There will be lifeguards present at each screening and all instructions should be followed to maintain safety in and out of the water.

– Cap

To attend the screening you must bring the following equipment:

– Cap;
– Slippers appropriate for use in the changing rooms and on the way to the pool (it is not allowed to use slippers from the street inside the pool);
– Pants or lycra shorts tight to the body (no other type of shorts are allowed; beach shorts will not be accepted);
– Full lycra swimsuit (three-piece swimsuits or two-piece bikinis are not allowed);
– Bathing towel.

All material must be appropriate for the practice of aquatic activities in swimming pools.

It will not be allowed the entry of public who are not accompanied by all these items, which are essential for the safe participation in the activity. IndieLisboa and Penha de França Swimming Pool are not responsible for providing these materials, the participants are responsible for bringing them.

For the IndieJúnior Family Screenings, all participants must sign a term of responsibility, which will be provided by e-mail after purchasing the ticket online (they will be contacted by the festival staff and will be asked for the full name, date of birth and ID card number of each participant for insurance purposes). In the case of minors, the consent form must be signed by the accompanying adult.

In order to avoid queues and possible delays, we ask all participants who purchased online, to bring the terms of responsibility already filled in and printed.

On the day of the screening, please show up 30 minutes before the beginning to check your tickets, the necessary material and to sign the terms of responsibility, if applicable. The entrance to the changing rooms will only be allowed 15 minutes before each screening. The toilets and showers in the changing rooms will be available. Towels will not be provided on site.
