Three years have passed since the military coup of Augusto Pinochet and Chile has established itself as a military dictatorship. But there is still a network of resistance. Carmen, a middle-aged upper middle class woman, visits the renovation of her summer house and comes across a request for help from the local priest: a young man from the resistance needs medical attention and she is his only hope.

This opens the door to a parallel between the reality of the film we see and that of PREC, the moment of the studied documentary and the contemporary world, with the young Michel in between.
