Baby Cinema is the most special space of the Festival, dedicated to a baby’s first experience at the movies. With colourful projections, it offers a multi-sensory environment where babies can react, feel, and explore in safety and comfort, within a scenography created by ESMAE student Mariana Natário, designed to stimulate the senses and reveal the magic of cinema.

In the first film, Low Flight, a cloud takes care of a beautiful flower. It loses patience when an airplane gets in the way. In Mr. Gnome, he is peacefully sunbathing in the garden when a cloud blocks the light. Everything turns cloudy, but he knows how to solve the situation. In Very Nutty, a squirrel organizing its winter supplies realizes a nut is missing, confronts a crow, and ends up in a chase through the forest. Next, in Together, we discover the joy of ducks in a shared dance! In The Silent Little Bear, while the grown bears are distracted with honey and berries, the little ones take the opportunity to play tricks among the clouds. The session ends with Inner Baião, where a bird observes the world – but what it sees blends with what it imagines, in a film about the power of daydreaming and music.
