Youth (Hard Times)

The second part of a trilogy of films, which started with Youth (Spring) and continues with Youth (Homecoming), in which Wang Bing follows the same characters over time — young people who have come to Zhili, an industrial city, to work hard and try to achieve their dreams. This part sees tensions rise between workers and management over pay (including the lack of it).
