The Wrong Man

Alfred Hitchcock

United States
1956, 105'

One of Jean-Luc Godard’s favourites. A noir filmmaker in his own right, this Hitchcock feature is based on real events and one of the inspirations for Martin Scorsese’s Taxi Driver. Here, we deal with a case of mistaken identity. Henry Fonda is Manny, a man who sees his life fall apart when he’s mistaken for a criminal. Film showcased in dialogue with ragtag, by Giuseppe Boccassini.
