Labour and the Trade Union Movement

Free Entry

As part of the commemorations of the 50th anniversary of the Portuguese Revolution, the commission defined a set of themes, and in 2023, the focus is the Trade Union movement. In association with these commemorations, IndieLisboa and FILMar (Cinemateca Portuguesa) have joined efforts and will present a programme composed of 6 sessions which will address labour and the trade union movement from a more historical perspective to the valorisation of the place of work in contemporary society, within the scope of Dignify Work. To debate these themes, we invite a set of personalities, from academics to politicians and trade unionists

With: Daniel Carapau (Precários Inflexíveis Association), Luísa Veloso (CIES/ISCTE; coordinated the research project Work on the Screen. Memories and Social Identities through Cinema), Manuel Carvalho da Silva (CES/UC) and Giulia Stripolli (moderator; IHC/NOVA FCSH)
