In this workshop we will start by watching the film Death to the Bikini!, by Justine Gauthier and discover who the characters are and what story they tell us. Inspired by the images and narrative of the film, we will solve a series of predefined situations, thinking and imagining how we can put ourselves “In other people’s shoes”. What changes in us when we manage to do so? In what creative and funny ways, we help our friends get around certain situations?

Then, with a film camera and all the workshop participants within the frame, will make a mini film entitled “In the skin of others”.

The film Death to the Bikini!, by Justine Gauthier, can be seen in Curtas +10.

Teatro Dom Roberto – All Ages

The Robertos Theater represents one of the oldest traditions of the performing arts. In Portugal, the popular hero remains today under the name Dom Roberto. S.A.Marionetas, having had the privilege of direct contact with Master António Dias, one of the last popular Portuguese puppeteers, recreated, based on his testimony, two plays – “O Barbeiro” and “A Tourada”. More recently, and seeking to preserve this traditional art form, the company recovered three more plays from the Robertos Theater repertoire – “A Rosa e os 3 Namorados”, “O Castelo dos Fantasmas” and “O Saloio de Alcobaça” The aim is to not let Robertos’ theater disappear, as a Portuguese cultural heritage.

Inside an endless box: a colorful, lit and sound world. Outside the box: an infinite world. What do I stop experiencing when busyness takes over my eyes? What can I see when I’m not looking? Is it possible to occupy the senses? And vacate them? With strong inspiration from the film “A Menina dos Olhos Ocupados” by André Carrilho, we challenge ourselves to experiment with the body and sound, objects that invite us to see and experience the world from different perspectives. Cookies Workshop! Mnham….! Warm cookies from Gleba on movie days? Apron, roll up your sleeves and we’re ready to cook! In this workshop we will build characters like those in the movies. We knead, shape and cook stories that taste like friendship and family love. They told us that in this delicious workshop the flour we will use is ground in a stone mill, and that we will taste the best wheat from Alentejo when we cook these delicious cookies! And if Gleba means “proper land to cultivate”, this merger with IndieJúnior means “proper land to create”!
