Discovering Yourself – Growth in Puberty +10 Years

Free Entry
DURATION: 90'

In this Film-Debate, we invite people from different areas – arts, education and health – for a

conversation moderated by the sub-commissioner of the National Plan for the Arts, Sara Brighenti, at Palácio Galveias Library. What is it like to see the body growing so fast? What happens inside and outside of us? How can the arts help us recognize who we are and discover new possibilities of relating to the world? Starting with the film Gaby’s Hills, by Zoé Pelchat, a fictional story about a 13-year-old girl who returns to the island where her father lives to spend the summer and reunite with her childhood friends, we launch the debate to young people about self-discovery and growing up in puberty. An initiative in partnership with Plano Nacional das Artes.

Keywords: growth, puberty, sexuality, parenting, female empowerment, problem solving, memories
