Ghost in the Machine is not just another film about Artificial Intelligence. Valerie Veatch’s project aims to trace this plague—which has invaded our daily lives—back to its very origins; to understand where it came from and foresee its future trajectory. Through in-depth research, presented on screen in the form of an essay, Ghost in the Machine is bold, provocative, and calls for reflection.
The screening on May 2 (Culturgest, 3 p.m.) will be followed by a debate on the Challenges of Artificial Intelligence in Cinema in collaboration with the No Escuro podcast from Jornal Público.
