In 2026, IndieMusic presents 10 feature films and 3 short films, taking viewers on a journey through different musical universes: from Brazilian funk to folk, including bubbling, Malian music, Portuguese rock, and much more.
In a joint initiative between IndieLisboa and MEO, all IndieMusic screenings feature audio description, reinforcing the festival’s commitment to accessibility.
Mouth of Madness
Mouth of Madness once again becomes the home of UFO films and the most bizarre objects. More than just a section dedicated to horror, it is a space for everything that defies conventions and refuses to fit into categories.
This edition features 14 films in total—seven feature-length and seven short films—as well as the now-traditional Boca do Inferno Marathon, which this year takes place in the early hours of May 8 at Cinema Ideal.
Among the highlights is the feature film Obsession (Curry Barker, 2025), which will screen on April 30, ahead of its world premiere.
