IndieLisboa is moving forward to its 23rd edition with a new visual identity that, from April 30 to May 10, will once again take over the city of Lisbon and its movie theaters.
This year, the festival posters are based on the idea of cut-outs and collages, intersecting fragments and overlapping images build an open composition, in constant transformation, just like the festival itself.
The elements suggest the plural nature of the festival. A space where experimental cinema and established authors, fiction, documentary, and animation coexist, as well as different sections: from IndieJúnior to IndieByNight, industry activities, and meetings with the public.
The visual identity design for IndieLisboa 2026 is by Ricardo Santos.
We hope you like it!

INDUSTRY
Industry is IndieLisboa’s program dedicated to film professionals, integrating the Film Support Fund, IndieLisboa Lab, and Lisbon Screenings.
From May 4 to 6, the festival will promote professional meetings, project presentations, and opportunities for international development and circulation.
INDIEJÚNIOR
IndieJúnior, the festival’s children’s and youth section, presents a program composed of films from around the world: animation, documentary, and fiction, designed for different ages.
The section is divided into two main strands: IndieJúnior Families and IndieJúnior Schools.
INDIEBYNIGHT
The festival continues into the night with IndieByNight, a program of concerts, parties, and special events that celebrate cinema beyond the theaters.
This nighttime curation often accompanies the IndieMusic film section.
