IndieJunior has invited a panel discussion to join us on 1 May, right after Kristina Dufková’s film Living Large, which will be previewed at IndieLisboa.
The theme is Growing Up Under Pressure: Bullying, Nutrition and the Quest for Self-Esteem +8, about the film’s themes of growing up, character definition, social acceptance, food, excess weight, bullying and friendships.
Adolescence is currently in a context of growing social and technological pressures, and it is essential to reflect on the challenges and importance of adopting healthy practices, while also valuing empathy, friendship, love and self-esteem, as the film suggests.
After watching the preview of this beautiful and important film, the debate will take place in Culturgest’s Debate Room.
Among the panel of guests invited to share their experiences and relationships with the film with us will be Márcia Santos – Representative of the No Bully Portugal Association, Carla Vasconcelos, Actress and Pedro Bizarro, Nutritionist. Antena 1 broadcaster Pedro Miguel Ribeiro will moderate the conversation.
