INDUSTRY is the section that brings together film professionals and provides several moments of learning and discussion while making partnerships happen.
Lisbon Talks are a set of activities such as masterclasses, meetings and conversations that focus on critical reflection and reformulation of ideas around cinematographic practices and the professional environment, both nationally and internationally. Along the same lines, Lisbon Screenings emerged to promote Portuguese cinema among foreign professionals. Portugal Film — Agência Internacional de Cinema Português was created to promote actions, such as presence at festivals and screenings for the industry, in order to get films to distributors, festivals and international exhibition networks.
The Cinema Support Fund is an initiative of IndieLisboa – Associação Cultural with the aim of supplementing support for the post-production of Portuguese films. The selected projects for this edition are already known.
Finally, IndieLab is a partnership between IndieLisboa and NOVA FCSH and focuses on monitoring projects taking into account the initial idea, point of view, narrative structure and creative vision of projects in the development phase, with the aim of enhancing its insertion in national and international markets.
