Under the cooperation network for innovation in the European professional market, Smart7, which is supported by Creative Europe, a new Industry programme was created: the Co-Production Forum. This programme aims to strengthen the co-production links between Smart7 member countries and has the collaboration of Media Desk Portugal, Lithuania and Greece.
The forum will present a selection of 7 projects currently in the development and financing phase, from international producers from Romania, Poland, Lithuania, Greece, Spain and Portugal, with France and Belgium as special guest countries. Each producer will present a feature film project in search of co-producers from the other countries.
Complementing this forum, on April 28, 4 pm, at Culturgest’s Room 2, there will be an information session on Media Desk Portugal, in which participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the funding possibilities that the Creative Europe programme has to offer to the European film and audiovisual sector. With a particular focus on the lines of funding to support producers, the speaker Susana Costa Pereira, the executive coordinator of Creative Europe Portugal Information Centre, will address the main objectives of the programme, the types of projects eligible for funding, as well as the application and selection processes.
