The 2019 edition was the second best edition in the past seven years of IndieLisboa. Between May 2nd and 12th more than 42 thousand people went through the rooms and parallel activities of IndieLisboa – International Film Festival. Highlight for the national sessions of A Punk Called Ribas and
Sadness and Joy in the Life of Giraffes, both in the top sales of IndieLisboa 2019, only surpassed by the opening film, the prequel to The Beach Bum.
IndieLisboa will be back in 2020 with a new selection of recent national and international films. Between April 30th and May 10th, the cinema will once again occupy Lisbon and will be
departure for the party and the meeting with the city.
IndieLisboa has already started a cycle of extensions that will cover several rooms in the country. Santarém, Vila Franca de Xira, Aljezur, Seixal, Vila Nova de Famalicão, Porto, Montemor-o-Novo, Tavira, Viseu and Coimbra will be able to see some of the films that won this year’s edition.
