IndieLisboa is one of the seven festivals that founded this initiative in 2023, which is supported by the MEDIA cooperation program of the EU&#8217;s Creative Europe. The Vilnius International Film Festival (Lithuania), the FILMADRID International Film Festival (Spain), the Transilvania IFF (Romania), the New Horizons Festival (Poland), the Reykjavik IFF (Iceland), and the Thessaloniki International Film Festival (Greece) are the other members of Smart7. In 2025, seven films will circulate across Europe, including the Portuguese film <em>Hanami<\/em> by director Denise Fernandes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-font-size is-style-outline has-small-font-size is-style-outline--1\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-black-color has-white-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/indielisboa.com\/seccao\/smart7\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">check films from Smart7<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>ESFN \u2013 European Short Film Network<\/strong> (or European Short Film Network) was founded in 2018 to promote and strengthen European short films. In addition to IndieLisboa, five other festivals are members of this network: Internationale Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen (Germany), Go Short Festival in Nijmegen (Netherlands), 25FPS (Croatia), Vienna Shorts (Austria), and Uppsala Kortfilmfestival (Sweden).
