Applications are now open for the tenth edition of the Portuguese Film Fund, a complementary instrument to support the post-production of Portuguese films created in 2011. The 2024 edition is made up of the usual partners: IndieLisboa – Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Cultural, Universidade Lus\u00f3fona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, Digital Mix M\u00fasica e Imagem, Funda\u00e7\u00e3o GDA, The Yellow Color and Portugal Film – Ag\u00eancia Internacional de Cinema Portugu\u00eas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Applications are invited for short or feature films, regardless of genre (animation, documentary, experimental, fiction) in the early stages of post-production, by Portuguese directors (or foreigners with permanent residence in Portugal) and (co-)produced in Portugal. Entries are \u20ac5 for short film projects and \u20ac12 for feature film projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prizes to be awarded are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
a) Universidade Lus\u00f3fona de Humanidades e Tecnologias: financial support of \u20ac1,500 awarded to a project of any length and genre;
b) Digital Mix M\u00fasica e Imagem: sound post-production services for a feature film and a short film;
c) GDA Foundation: \u20ac6,000 for the creation of original music, rewarding one feature film (\u20ac4,000) and one short film (\u20ac2,000), or alternatively three short films (each \u20ac2,000);
d) The Yellow Color: two days in the studio in image post-production for a short film, with the technician(s) being paid separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
