IndieLisboa begins next Thursday, the April 27, and besides the programme already announced, it is also time to highlight the partnerships of this edition, as well as the names that are part of the official juries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The jury of the International Feature Film Competition includes the musician Adolfo Lux\u00faria Canibal, the programmer Aist\u0117 Ra\u010daityt\u0117 and the filmmaker Marta Popivoda. This section encompasses the Feature Film Grand Prize City of Lisbon and the TVCine Special Award. The archivist and curator Annabelle Aventurin, the director and performer Ary Zara and the artist Gabriel B\u00f6hmer make up the short films jury, that will choose the winners of the EMEL Short Film Grand Prize and the different award-winners of Best Animated Short, Documentary and Fiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The winners of the National Competition, which includes the Award for Best Portuguese Feature Film, the NOVA FCSH Award for Best Directed Feature Film, the Award for Best Short Film and The Yellow Color New Talent Award, will be decided by director Anita Rocha da Silveira, the CPH:DOX festival programme manager Mads K. Mikkelsen and curator Pedro Segura. The Brand New Prize, aimed at young filmmakers, features director Falc\u00e3o Nhaga, Berlinale Talents head Florian Weghorn and programmer Lur Olaizola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Silvestre section brings together Claire Simon, Djamila Grandits and Yasuhiro Morinaga in the decision of the feature films, and Julien Bodivit, Marina Kozul and Molly Nilsson in the short films. Escola das Artes, from Oporto’s Catholic University, reinforces its partnership with the festival, offering this year the Silvestre Award for Best Short Film. Finally, IndieMusic presents a new sponsorship for its award, Bandida do Pomar, and the choice will be up to the musician Jo\u00e3o Branco Kyron, the teacher Jos\u00e9 Marmeleira and the singer and performer Rita Braga. EMEL<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and TVCine<\/a><\/span><\/strong> also return to their role as sponsor brands of the festival. EMEL will once again promote an IndieJ\u00fanior Workshop and this year will present a Mobility Pack, which adds the offer of a GIRA monthly pass to IndieLisboa’s voucher ticket books. In its turn, TVCine continues to guarantee space in its selection for less commercial cinema, from the festival’s programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Musa<\/a><\/span><\/strong> returns and is joined by Bandida do Pomar<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and Jameson<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, forming the trio that ensures the moments of celebration. Also for the first time in IndieLisboa, CRC – Car Rental Company<\/a><\/span><\/strong> is present to guarantee the official cars of the festival and to offer a promotional code in the rentals of their cars to IndieLisboa audience. Junta de Freguesia de Sto. Ant\u00f3nio<\/a><\/span><\/strong> will once again support IndieJ\u00fanior, and also ASUS<\/a><\/span><\/strong> returns to the festival, this time providing the team with the best equipment.
