The ten selected projects for this edition, two features and eight short films<\/u>, were presented with a pitching session and later evaluated by an international jury. This year the jury, was made up by Portuguese musician Salvador Sobral<\/strong>, the Jeonju Film festival programmer Sung Moon<\/strong>, and the artistic director of Vienna Shorts Film Festival, Daniel Ebner<\/strong>,\u00a0awarded the following prizes:<\/p>\n

Financial support of \u20ac1.500, awarded to a project of any length or genre:
\n\u2022 P\u00e9riph\u00e9rique Nord<\/strong><\/em>, by Paulo Carneiro (Vento Forte, Head-Geneva, Switzerland \/ Portugal)
\nA young car aficionado travels 2000km north and meets some of his fellow countrymen, who have been forced to leave their country; together, they share a love for cars.<\/p>\n

\nFor weeks, Shade hasn’t been sleeping well. Unexplainable lights appear in the sky. Shade seems to be floating, in an intermediate state in which the reality of the world around them does not sustain itself.
\n\u2022 Kint\u00e9 B\u00f4<\/strong><\/em>, by Sofia Borges (Oxal\u00e1 Filmes, Portugal \/ S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 e Pr\u00edncipe)
\nThe island is inhabited by ghosts that interfere with everyday life. There is a debt from the past that plagues the fishing activity of Bumba and the future of the population.<\/p>\n

\nThe baby plays with the boat in the bathtub. Suddenly, the boat turns around. Suddenly, the boat isn\u2019t the boat in the bathtub anymore, but the boat in the sea. Suddenly the baby isn\u2019t the baby anymore but it\u2019s me.<\/p>\n
