Short or feature films in the beginning of post-production by Portuguese directors (or foreigners with permanent residency in Portugal) and with Portuguese (co-)production now have until March 20 to apply for the 6th edition of the Portuguese Film Fund.<\/p>\n

The Cinema Support Fund also welcomes a new partner, Escola das Artes – Universidade Cat\u00f3lica Portuguesa in Porto, which will institute a prize in the amount of \u20ac 1,500.<\/p>\n

The prizes to be awarded then unfold as follows:<\/p>\n

a) Escola das Artes, Universidade Cat\u00f3lica Portuguesa<\/a>: financial support in the amount of \u20ac 1,500 attributed to a project of any length and type;<\/p>\n

b) Digital Mix M\u00fasica e Imagem<\/a>: sound post-production services for a feature film and a short film;<\/p>\n

c) GDA Foundation<\/a>: \u20ac 6,000 for the creation of original music, rewarding a feature film (\u20ac 4,000) and a short film (\u20ac 2,000), or alternatively three short films (each \u20ac 2,000);<\/p>\n

d) The Yellow Color<\/a>: two days of post-production studio image for a short film, with the technician (s) paid separately.<\/p>\n

In recent years, projects such as \u201cRaposa\u201d by Leonor Noivo, \u201cA Casa e os Dogs\u201d by Madalena Fragoso and Margarida Meneses, \u201cA Dan\u00e7a do Cipreste\u201d by Mariana Cal\u00f3 and Francisco Queimadela, \u201cAnjo\u201d by Miguel Nunes, \u201cUp to Let Porno Separate Us \u201dby Jorge Pelicano,\u201c O Mar Enrola na Areia \u201dby Catarina Mour\u00e3o, among others.<\/p>\n
