We\u2019ve already had a night of concerts at Damas in honor of the pioneer of rock in Portugal, Zurita de Oliveira. The party is over, but there\u2019s still a chance to see the film Quem Tem Medo de Zurita de Oliveira?<\/em> by Francisca Marv\u00e3o, which will be screened on May 10 at 7:30 p.m. at Cinema Ideal. More information here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As for the upcoming events: on May 3, following the film about the visionary Sun Ra, there will be a jam session night at Badassery\u2014a cosmic celebration featuring DJs and live music, inspired by the jazz master\u2019s free spirit. More information on the event page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On May 8, the Damas will host a party inspired by the film Venus<\/em>, from the National Competition. An evening of dancing with Venga Venga and Casal Maravilha. More information here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To bring the festival to a spectacular close, Casa do Capit\u00e3o is hosting a party on May 9 featuring three dance floors and a variety of musical styles. The evening is inspired by three films from the IndieMusic section: Massa Funkeira<\/em>, Bubbling Baby<\/em>, and The Blind Couple From Mali<\/em>.
