Filming Literature at Lisboa 5L

From the short story to the novel, the Cinema Cycle Filming Literature presents a selection of films adapted from different works and literary genres. An exclusive programme created in partnership between IndieLisboa and the festival Lisboa 5L, which starts today, May 5.

Lisboa 5L is a literary festival that takes place in Lisbon between May 5 and 9 and proposes to celebrate  Language, Literature, Books, Bookshops and Reading. Our collaboration with Lisboa 5L started during last year’s edition of IndieLisboa, where films related to the the 5 Ls that give name to the festival (in Portuguese) were presented.

This year, we extend our partnership and program the cinema cycle that is part of the 2021 edition of the literary festival. Sessions take place between May 5 and 9, at Cinema Ideal, at 6:15pm, with presentations by specialist guests.
