SPECIAL PROGRAMING

These sessions include films exhibited in both opening and closing events. It may also appear in these sessions other films that for a reason may not be integrated in the other sections of the program.

EXTENSIONS

IndieLisboa has a strong policy of decentralization. Therefore, it organizes presentations of movies that were integrated in previous editions of the festival. These take place in several Portuguese cities. In the last edition there were twelve Portuguese cities where festival films were shown. There are also international presentations in which we aim to broadcast Portuguese short and features. Last year’s edition there were 12 different programs taking place in Paris (France), Bucharest (Romania), Provincetown (USA), Saint Petersburg (Russia), Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Copenhagen (Denmark) and Bratislava (Slovakia).

LISBON TALKS

Specifically aimed at bringing the way the filmmaking world operates closer to students of cinema and all professionals working in the business. To this end it incorporates a range of actions - debates, a seminar and master classes -, involving illustrious Portuguese and foreign guests from different areas.

VIDEO LIBRARY

The festival’s video library comprises more than 3000 submitted films for the present edition and is available to accredited professionals in specially reserved booths.

INDIE BY NIGHT

During IndieLisboa, the public has the opportunity to meet the authors of their favourite films. This informal ambient also proportionates professional meetings between the festival’s national and international guests.
