Inspired by Garth's own experiences as a child in the 1980s, it’s a project that Garth Jennings and Nick Goldsmith — collectively known as Hammer and Tongs — have been working on for some years. The film is a gentle coming-of-age comedy. It tells the story of two schoolboys who are inspired by “Rambo: First Blood” (which they see on a pirate videotape) to make their own action adventure film.
