A tribute to Natália Correia, a Portuguese poet and writer who was born 100 years ago, in a film that travels to the island of São Miguel, in the Azores, where reality and fiction intertwine with her poetry.

Three generations of women personify Natália Correia. They travel the island of São Miguel, in a wander through the place where the poet was born, one hundred years ago. The film begins with the poem Uma Laranja para Alberto Caeiro, and it is in this simple exchange of words between orange and bird, between the sky and the earth, freedom of the air and of the ground you step on, the instinct to stay and to leave, that this film takes place. There is something ethereal in this landscape that justifies the poet’s work, but it is from the overwhelming nature that we draw the strength of the person who not only wrote these words, but also read and interpreted them. And through her mouthpiece, the words came to life, took on fire and had the violence of the waves crashing against the cliffs. BLOW! (Miguel Valverde)
